If the Tories were pointing out that there's some bad stuff in the Quran or criticising the government of Saudi Arabia for their treatment of women, there wouldn't be an issue. But trying to paint Muslims as "Islamist invaders" and trying to get people to push them out is a major problem that we need to put a stop to. The fact that a few people on Tower Bridge saying "cease fire now" were painted as "Islamic extremists" who should have the army's guns turned on them by people rallying around former Tory MP Lee Anderson, should be deeply worrying in a democratic, multi-cultural country that values freedom of speech and expression.
