Hundreds of stealth fighter jets, drones, and bombers soared into the clear nighttime Xinjiang sky, bound for a destination that many of them were unfamiliar with - the MANSAB-aligned territories of Afghanistan and eastern Iran. They carried with them missiles and enormous amounts of ordinance; on the ground, hypersonic missile launchers and self-guided rocket equipment would be supporting them. It took a mere ten minutes for the fighter jets to reach the Wakhan Corridor from their bases in Kashgar. On the ground, tens of thousands of Chinese special forces operatives and soldiers loaded their gear into stealth helicopters that would drop them into MANSAB territory near air bases and military installations that had been scoped out by satellite and recon imagery for the past five months. The bulk of the infantry armies were waiting on their troop transports to be either airlifted or driven through the Wakhan into Northern Afghanistan, and thousands of light armoured vehicles, tanks, and mechs had gathered to support this advance. All was ready, and the Chinese Premier - Jian Weiqi - only needed to press the trigger. And so she did, at 23:40 GMT+8. It was time for China to help eradicate this terrorist threat on the border, once and for all. Thousands of hypersonic missiles and rockets arced through the sky before slamming into MANSAB military bases and hundreds of cities and towns throughout Afghanistan, catching the defenders completely off guard. Afghans were shaken out of their beds by explosions. Total devastation rained down from the sky; the sheer number of missiles and bombs the Chinese were now dropping on cities like Kabul, Mazar-i-Sharif, Jalalabad, Jurm, and many others were simply too much to be intercepted by conventional air defence. Throughout the night, hundreds of thousands of tonnes of ordinance systematically devastated every target they could reach, while special forces operatives began to paradrop into the country, followed by a general infantry advance on either helicopters or foot. The Chinese strategy for this offensive relied on total devastation of all infrastructure and population centres, and the country's armed forces would not stop, no matter how much destruction and mass death they caused. And so it was - with cities like Kabul being bombed into a lunar craterscape, with firestorms raging through the city as autonomous Chinese fighter jets and drones dropped gargantuan amounts of bombs and rained down hypersonic missiles. Presumably, this protracted bombing of thousands of cities and military targets would cause mass casualties.
