Why would one person make life of another person they live with be a nightmare? Unhappy? Just leave then, what’s the problem. Wives and husbands are not each other’s property to treat this way

This is a great point,
As a woman (or anyone but for now I'm talking about women), it is impossible to know if the man you're meeting is abusive,
Or when you start dating one, if he will become abusive over time. This is, IMH, not good. Especially since the power dynamics
Between men and women being as they are, and how their words weight differently
