Business As Usual

With the return of the American Homefleet from the alien incursion in the highly secretive Washington System, President Yagi earlier today notified that business as usual would resume with the American Federation Military and that operations would be conducted in Southern France to aid in the rebuilding of the country during it's war with Iberia. Along with this, ATLAS contractors and military factories were reactivated today after a long drawn out trial after the FTC v ATLAS case made it's way to the supreme court and in a Unanimous 15-0 Decision, the ATLAS corporation would be assimilated into the American Federations Military as the Sole Private Military contractor for the country whilst it's subsidiaries would be merged into Templin Keppe.

In other news The Secretary of Defense, Dirk Valentine, flew to Reykjavik earlier this morning aboard Air Force Two with Vice President Hubert Delroy as both have begun talks with the Nordic Republic on talks regarding admission into the Organization of Free Nations. The Defensive pact only consists of the French and American Federations as it's sole and founding members, though with the Indochinese Confederation being a close Ally, talks may begin to see American forces leaning towards a new expansion of American Influence. Sticking within the Eastern Hemisphere, The Secretary of State also announced that the American Federation now recognizes the Australian Commonwealth Government as the legitimate Successor State of Australia. This would not change or alter relations with Unovia as it only changed it's standing with recognizing the Australian Government from a Government in Exile to a proper Successor State.
