Most people are good and won't do such a thing. I wasn't trying to be sexist, just saying afew people are bad/perverts and would do something. I understand gender-neutral bathrooms can help people feel more comfortable or be cheaper (combining both bathrooms). I'm just worried over the bad eggs and the "what ifs". I should have explain more, sorry.

the issue is, a lot of women *do* have a strong discomfort of sharing public bathrooms with men (source: the women in my family) so while the idea that men are creepers who are gonna inevitably creep is sexist... well, that's the opinion of quite a few people who have to use the bathrooms and think they have a legitimate safety concern. How to balance the prejudices (justified or otherwise) of users versus broader goals of social justice is not an easy question to answer.

It's always that one bad example that ruins it for everyone else. Yes there will be that one person that acts like a total idiot and should be 100% thrown in jail (or worse depending on your point of view) but fearmongering is not the answer you're looking for.

Being inside a public restroom with another person is like being around other people on a nudist beach: It requires a serious level of maturity and trust from everyone involved. And if that trust is violated, then everyone's fun is ruined, potentially including people who weren't present at the time and instead show up in the future.

At my job, the men have a tendency of creating huge messes in the men's restroom. At one point, somebody really screwed things up and nobody was allowed to use the men's room. Thankfully I've never needed to use it, I'm determined to avoid public restrooms whenever I can, but I still received a few bad jokes from the females just because I happen to be a guy.

Regardless of gender, all it takes is for at least one person to seriously ruin everyone else's enjoyment.

I haven't used a public restroom for almost 10 years.

restrooms with only one stall where there is no demand for more then one person at a time make no sense to not be unisex.

Still talking about pee and poop ?

they are part of the cycle of life. they feed the vegitation which gives us back the air we breathe and much of what we eat.
its a mutual relationship. food and air so we can make more pee and poop to feed them.

Got a new passport before the current fun kicked off to visit Germany before the current mess kicked off (well both messes, in the UK for now)...and to have valid photo ID (I don't drive) to get into data centres.

So how ready are you to get out of you country for a bit when it's a wise idea.

With luck I'll have to get a new one in a few years (no I'm not emigrating, just believe in my home nation (IRL) will regain it's independence and get back into the EU).

I've traveled a lot of the US and I think instead of leaving the country right now, I'd just like to spend time up in Alaska. Perhaps I will be able to when I finish my degree in a couple years

Stop asking me about my passport, Benrey!

Hmm things have gone quiet again:-/
Would suggest a game of Monington Crescent...but I don't know if any of you lot play.

Oh BTW have joined the Zoological Society of Scotland, everything is closed, but some one has to help them. Especially as they have a couple of red pandas with a kid to look after.

Always a very commendable endeavour.

“Having a government there comprised entirely of native vulpens will breed resentment among the indigenous population,” groans Minister Francisco Franklin, adjusting his Foxtrot University cap. “Why don’t we co-opt their elite instead? Just educate them in our best schools and universities — for example’s sake, FU — to value our culture and customs over their own. That way, their ruling elite have legitimacy among the locals yet will be totally amenable to our interests here at home.”

I can't stop laughing!

To anyone that also reads TwoKinds, I've never felt so sad for a character death than I do right now.

I've heard of it, but never actually seen material of it outside of e621. Where may I go to find more?

Winter is pretty bad here in the Ozarks. In my area, it will continue being bad until around 6PM tomorrow. I might not even be able to drive towards work.
