Also nominate Greater New Indus considering he's the stand in RN.

I literally haven't posted here before (g'day!) but i'll nominate myself; I'm pretty active? I check this at least once every couple of days!

Post self-deleted by Dancing fennix.

You ever just get bored and turn your nation into a cult

yea me too

At the very least, we here in Quevilis are a cult to technology, if it counts.

Or the Queen, world love the Queen, the Queen should be eternal probably.

My nation is the 80th most primitive nation in the world rank.

Didn't mean to suppress that, my bad

Greater new indus

Oh no, I'm somehow still alive.
As much as I would like to nominate myself as a stopgap delegate until Anean returns, I'm not particularly active owing to mental health struggles.

0tis-t is a more engaged and deeply ingrained member of the community, so I'm going to nominate him.

"more engaged and deeply ingrained member of the community"

In reality, I don't know where I am a majority of the time. I just do things.

Welcome to the new reality (when you work from home all the time...you kinda forget there is an outside from time to time...I managed a week with out seeing a single actual living human face....and I live in a city....and I mean right in the middle of one).

But isn't this place somewhere we go to escape reality?

But lets be honest reality has become rather unreal this year....

"Reality is questionable term"

reality is rocks and trees and galaxies. its everything else we think we know that is a kind of shared phantasy.
little furry creatures with big sharp teeth do exist of course, and social interaction occurs,
but its in what we tell each other that it all gets a bit fuzzy and uncertain.

certainly there are bigger things then ourselves, just as there are smaller, but we are no more the center and reason for the existence of anything,
then is everything else. so there is a reality in the sense of everything that does not begin and end with ourselves and what we tell each other.

its what's there when no one is saying anything, and doesn't go away when no one 'believes in it'.
it owes nothing to our ideas of fairness, but is completely impartial.

there are statistical causalities that are completely real too, and those account for a lot of what we experience and how we make that so.
but really the reality that is certain is what is entirely separate and apart from ourselves, not just individually, but all of us together as well.

We call it reality, but there is no real point of reference.

You don't even know what exactly did I mean yet you already throw your nonsense at me.

I'm just making fun of snobs with that attitude, though I probably could've done it better.

I'm sorry about that.

the point of reference is that it begins where the box of what we tell each other ends.

It ends with a cat because cats like to be in boxes.

Soaps

Honestly, really like cats over here. Could we put a Robotic Amalgamation in it?

They're cute, in their own way, we swear.

I think boxes are pretty cool. Very boxy ya know.

physical boxes are fun, but social boxes are such a tiny tiny part of everything and hide from us all the wonders beyond.

Social boxes are something that hinders us, but mental boxes also should get some credit for it, they prevent us from moving forward, or just from creative thought.

Down with the mental boxes.

Nolo gap

to have fun with boxes they need a way to enter and to make sure they have a way to escape from. they can be small or they can be maze-like.
when they automatically follow a path because of how they are made, through the wonders of diversity of a forest or a universe gives a kind of pleasure.
we are no longer limited like our ancestors, to adopting what we can find. the making and designing them, is something for everyone to make them all different.

OK as a gen Xer what bugs me big time is gen X spent it's time ripping up all the boxes, best we could..then the 90s happened...girly girl bands run by men, etc and the millennials picked up the bits of the boxes we left and started building new ones, rather than braking down the boxes, they have built a lot of smaller which the gen Z lot seem happy to jump into.

Seriously people pink floyd got it right when they said tare down the wall...tare down the boxes, don't ID as something be you. Screw ID politics, it's regressive as hell, who gives a flying <expletive> about race, sex, sexuality, etc you are you and if you even care about the previously said categories, when it comes to your friends....the problem is you.

IRL (before the plague) I would go out to the pub, no idea what anyone's religion was, only a vague idea about what people's sexuality was...never really came up, tended to forget race, etc...and that was my friends...No idea about the rest of the pub, didn't know, didn't care...that should be the world we are aiming for.

Oh to add to the "fun" the Scottish/English boarder is now closed...They have some new strain of serious stuff going on in London....which the UK gov decided not to shut of the trains or anything and give idiots 12 hrs to spread it, before restrictions came into place...so expect all of the UK to be infected by it by the morn....but you have to look after the south east.
