It's a cool, foggy day in sector 24ξ [ksi] and the FreshCo. Grocers Ultramart stands tall. A massive building it extends from 24ξ all the way to 24α with elevators reaching up to highest of 24α's high-rises and down to the lowest of 24θ's subterranean worker housing. Yes, the 24ξ Ultramart is truly one of the biggest stores in the Allied Markets and it feeds the people of countless sectors.

As the morning shopping wave begins to accelerate there is now a small hole in the side of the behemoth. Customers rush frantically to the exits as the building begins to lock down, while the employees hold their breath and a small heavily armed militia enters the breach. The militia engages in a brief fire fight with security, but soon overtakes them. As the employees watch through the cameras from the panic rooms it becomes clear that the militia means to burn the market to the ground.

Before they can light a match though, the infiltrated region begins to fill with gas. Cabbages, racks, skin, uniforms, and customers alike begin to sizzle as the chemicals slowly burn them. The militia attempts to make an escape, but it appears the breach has been sealed off. This wasn't the first attack on FreshCo., and it certainly won't be the last, and like all who came before them this militia has learned that to fight the corprate giant they literally need to be made of tougher stuff. As the organics writhe in agony on the floor screaming, their inorganic comrades desperately fight off the second wave of security forces while trying to open another hole in the wall, floor, ceiling, anything really.

When they finally break back through, they grab whatever organics they can carry—though a few fall after being a bit too ambitious in their rescue efforts—and once out of the breach the send a message "blow it" to their comrades in 24λ. The burning shoppers and fallen militia forget about the pain for a moment, because it's as if someone turned the gravity off. The store falls 7 sectors down to 24ξ where to the shock of the fleeing militia it bounces. the force of the shock shakes Development 24 and buildings begin to fall away around it, but the store bounces up again, reaches its peak, and begins to slowly ascend up the massive concrete apartment blocks adjacent to it. It seems the structural plans for the building were a red herring meant to stop any would be terrorists from inflicting serious harm—on the building anyway. Development 24 lies in ruins, but FreshCo. Grocers 24ξ Ultramart stands as tall as it did in the beginning of foggy morning. Helicopters approach to clean up the survivors and obtain the bodies as the broken militia runs.
