Modi is such a strong leader that he has given 0 press conferences in the last ten years and requires teleprompters to give important speeches 💀💀he brought up Katchatheevu as a way to malign Congress (btw I don't agree the way Congress had handled it) when China have continuously been able to successfully encroach upon our territory bit by bit and control important posts. The mainstream media hardly covers big failures of Modi administration or prominent Modi critics. How many outlets gave importance to the Sonam Wangchuk protest on Ladakh's statehood? None.

Next, it's not really possible to enact very broad capitalist policies in a country like India, no party is very right wing economically. Not really possible. The left and right wing is mainly socially. Even so, the right wing party is actually more right wing economically than the other main parties, leading a policy of privatisation, opening up to foreign investment and reducing welfare. They have their pros and cons. It's a debate for another day.

But the main point I wanted to address was this mindset of Modi being a really strong leader who is brilliantly leading the country. No he is not. But I'm not saying he's weak either. But then again no PM can afford to be weak. Modi is Modi. He's a PM, he's doing his job and that's that. He isn't anything exceptional.

I would want to post more messages about the SocDem and DemSoc and other things, but I'm pretty sure my posts will get suppressed (can't send more than 3 messages simultaneously).

Oh, and Congress is already like a liberal + social democrat party (by ideology). Saying this because you said you're waiting for some SocDem or DemSoc parties to arise in the future. But this country completely lacks a proper DemSoc movement (I'm a DemSoc)

I actually don't know any leftist songs except communist and anarchist ones. If you know some other good ones, you cam recommend them.
