I could infer that you belong to a central European country, in here in India though the left is basically dead. There's either the right wing nationalist party or a basically defunct centrist party. There is no real left Alternative here, even the Communist frikin Party is no better than the centrist one.

In fact I'd much rather vote for the right wing party because atleast it can deliver on actually making the country better.

This is what you have been told, that there are no alternatives to the current regime so even if you don't like them, keep voting for them. But how do you know whether they'd perform or not, UNLESS you bring them into power and give them a chance. The "defunct centrist party", aka, Congress is absolutely not defunct or dead, idk what you are talking about. They are very much alive and kicking just like the right wing party.

But tbh in my state, the entire political arena is such a sh*tshow I'm very much inclined to vote NOTA (if I was allowed to lmao). Our state talks so much about politics yet we can't produce loyal statesmen who keep the state's and country's interests first and foremost...

Next, it's not really possible to enact very broad capitalist policies in a country like India, no party is very right wing economically. Not really possible. They have their pros and cons. It's a debate for another day.

But the main point I wanted to address was this mindset of Modi being a really strong leader who is brilliantly leading the country. No he is not. But I'm not saying he's weak either. But then again no PM can afford to be weak. Modi is Modi. He's a PM, he's doing his job and that's that. He isn't anything exceptional.

I would want to post more messages about the SocDem and DemSoc and other things, but I'm pretty sure my posts will get suppressed (can't send more than 3 messages simultaneously).

Oh, and Congress is already like a liberal + social democrat party (by ideology). Saying this because you said you're waiting for some SocDem or DemSoc parties to arise in the future. But this country completely lacks a proper DemSoc movement (I'm a DemSoc)

Next, please don't talk about military if you have 0 ground information. The only thing which is saving china is the nuclear bomb. In this country environmentalists are intentionally or unintentionally doing anti national activities.
