Summary
Following talks with the representative of Imperial Remnant, the Regional Officers of Clio have decided that our region will join the Imperial Starfleet faction. All nations are asked to join in the name of regional unity.

Background
With the nuclear conflict of N-Day approaching, the Regional Officers assessed Clio's position and capabilities. While our region has built a small and diverse faction of our own, we recognised that, on our own, we would struggle to properly defend ourselves against larger regions and factions.

At the same time, our ongoing diplomatic relationship with Imperial Remnant has grown stronger, culminating in the establishment of embassies between our regions. Recent discussions with their representative made clear that a partnership on the battlefield would benefit both sides.

The Decision
Given the urgency of the matter, and the limited time available to consult individually with every nation, the Regional Officers met and agreed on the following course of action:

• All nations of Clio are asked to join the Imperial Starfleet faction individually.

• Clio's own faction structure will stand down in favour of this unified effort.

• Strength in numbers. A larger faction means stronger shields, more coordinated defence, and greater deterrence against aggressors.

• A trusted partner. Our relationship with Imperial Remnant is built on genuine diplomacy, not convenience.

• We bring value, not just numbers. Clio's nations already include Military, Strategic, Economic, and Cleanup specialists, strengthening the Starfleet as a whole.

• Peace through unity. We remain committed to defending ourselves and our allies, without seeking unnecessary conflict.
