Everything about the Fourth Bozarkian Cup (+Pre-registred nations [WIP])

May 3rd of [lost year]
In a solemn field, amidst the brief rustling of winds, where in this idyllic place resides a house. Four years have passed since the events of the Third edition, and eight since the Second, totaling more than 12 years. He was there in that solemn and simple, yet beautiful house, sitting on the sofa, waiting for something he didn't know what it was.
And it came
It was a letter from the CEO of OCP (or the Multiversal Organization of the Bozarkian Cup). A handsome young man, appearing to be in his early twenties, came to deliver this letter:
To: Boz Arkiam
Main content: The Fourth Edition
Your Excellency, creator of this great Multiversal event, the former leader of the Ottoman Republic; I bring you with this letter the good news about the Multiversal event in which you made it happen. We witnessed your active participation in the Third Edition and how your contribution took the competition to new heights.
We would like to highlight that, following the Third Edition, books, CDs, DVDs, streaming services, films, and other media related to this event have been shared throughout the multiverse. We also highlight the general awareness of this event which, after the conclusion of the Third Edition, tripled among the people of many nations.
We'd like to inform you that this edition will include over 128 nations from across the multiverse, with those that have won previous editions also participating. More than 32 stadiums will host the Cup, and its duration will be slightly longer than the Third World Cup.
Through this, I ask you to participate in this great work which Your Grace has once again created. As a bridge to Multiversal peace through sport, initiating Multiversal peace among many nations. Please come with us. The event will begin in 4 months.
Arkiam is genuinely surprised by the letter, lets out a slight sigh, followed by a light laugh.
If you wanted this so badly, you could have just told me beforehand He finishes speaking and looks at the person who delivered the message:
Tell him that I am more than available to participate in this cup, for a greater good shared by all. May this event serve as a bridge to eradicating all bloody conflict through sport.
May 4th of [lost year]
The messenger finally crosses the multiversal rift and arrives at the Great Hall.
The place resembles a European palace, with floors and windows partially or completely covered in a material more beautiful than gold and silver. The entrance is largely horizontal, ending in two staircases with gentle curves that lead up to the second floor. After a long walk, the messenger finally arrives at the crowned room, where the CEO of OCP sits, constantly doing something.
Your Excellency, your message was well received and the individual to whom you sent this letter has responded.
First of all, thank you for managing to return home safely and also for bringing back the letter and his reply. Secondly
He tries to look suspenseful, but ultimately fails. Then he says:
What was Boz Arkiam's response?
I'll say it in his own words.
He says Boz's answer and he gives a hearty laugh.
If that's how you want it, so be it. Tell everyone else to start preparing for the Cup before noon. I'm going to visit him, but not before going to Dalte's (Daltanaes') house.
Understood, Your Excellency!
May 5th of [lost year]
In a vast, modern-futuristic city, with sumptuous buildings and skyscrapers that seemed to greet the beyond, resided a palace. At its entrance there was a flowery field approximately 10 kilometers wide and 30 kilometers long, with the largest river in the Middle East to its left. Beyond this flowery field comes a colossal structure resembling a Tesserac, measuring over 200 meters in width, length, and height. Inside, in many sections, there was an elevator indicated by my guide that would lead to the Palace of the Ten Pillars.
After a period in the elevator, we continued on to the stairways of infinity (which has a reason for being called that) and proceeded to the room which precedes the emperor's sumptuous chamber.
Unlike the city, this place seems very traditional to me. From the moment we got off here and spent 30 minutes in this complex, it left me speechless to notice such wonders beneath this city. How did they build this? How did they plan and design a complex of this size? Could this complex have existed before Meha even existed? There were so many questions, and although I already knew the place and had seen it firsthand, visiting it was something I never imagined I would experience someday
And finally we arrived at the room.
He was sitting there, humbly yet authoritatively, looking at us with a certain curiosity, since he knew me and was probably expecting the message.
Your Exce- He was interrupted by the emperor's speech.
We don't need formalities here, son. He says in a calm tone, but one that still maintains an air of authority, and the guest obeys.
And besides, we've known each other for quite some time now, that's not necessary anymore, is it, Luke? Dalte concludes by saying.
Yes he waves
Given the reason you brought it here, I suppose it's to discuss the World Cup preparations and a "message" from you.
That's right. First, we request your permission to begin selecting the stadiums for the Bozarkian Cup on the tenth of this month. We also need your permission to begin organizing the broadcasting companies for the upcoming event and the infrastructure in the Chetlosvakcosian cities that will host the stadiums. Secondly, I have some news from Arkiam for you.
Regarding the first case, I will leave the Ministers of Transport and Communications to handle the national organization for the World Cup. Regarding the stadiums, I fear that we only have the Meha International Stadium pre-registered, and due to the capacity limitations of this cup, I request that the total number be increased to 32 stadiums in total (including Meha International Stadium).
Regarding the second case, I'm curious to know what Arkiam has to say this time.
What he says has its fingers on the Bozarkian Cup.
I understand. But what is his message?
He said he will participate even more in this cup and will take on some role within it, which I don't yet know. He also said that he will participate so that this event can serve as a bridge to eradicate all conflicts between the participating nations and the multiverse itself.
Oh! Dalte exclaims slightly upon hearing the message. He sighs and continues.
This is excellent news for Chetlosvakcos and the entire Multiverse!
Yes, thanks to his participation, this event will have better planning and organization this time. Once a guest, now an active participant!
Finally, we will schedule a meeting on May 15th in Sidomagakur. Please let me know of any further decisions he makes through your messengers. You are free to go.
May 15th of [lost year]
They decided to meet in a square in the city of Sidomagakur. They dressed differently and more casually so as not to attract attention. Each was going in the opposite direction from the other, guided by the gentle breeze that filled the air. And finally they meet: the leader of the great Chetlosvakcosian empire; and before him, the former leader of the Ottoman Republic and the creator of the Bozarkian Cup.
That meeting was more important than many international meetings. The atmosphere was tense, so Boz decided to speak first.
It's been a long time, Dalte
He said it in a melancholic and even nostalgic tone.
Too
you also probably know that this meeting will be important for the event that follows. He says it in a lower tone than usual, as if you were talking to an old friend.
Yes, exactly that, and I heard about your future participation. What motivated you to make that decision?
Originally, in its first edition, the event took place in my former nation, the Ottoman Republic. The edition was a success, we planned to create another one in a few years, but something terrible struck my country. He ends the sentence in a resigned way, accepting the inevitable fate that his country has decreed for him.
I still remember that day, that chaotic day. The day the opposing political group resorted to extreme and undemocratic measures to regain power... Yes, We all know what happened next.
The coup failed, but it sparked a civil war that was so brutal that it led to my losing the presidency due to pressure from the population and other countries. Thus, this event was discontinued for more than 10 years. Until you brought him back.
You heard about the story later, so much so that you appeared as a guest on the third edition.
Yes, I initially thought it was just a bad pun they were making about my event, but
When I saw it in the newspaper, I was astonished.
"The Second Bozarkian Cup was a multiversal success for Bozarkia and its embassies! [...]" I read it twice to make sure of what I saw.
And so I entered as a guest to watch my event being under their care. And we had that beautiful debut of the third World Cup.
Exactly. And since that day you've become quite famous around here, haha Dalte lets out a small laugh.
Yes, and now that she's under my care again and at the OCP, I'll be even more
Hey, don't get so desperate! Dalte makes a discreet pout, which makes Boz laugh.
I've already taken care of this Cup once. But now it has truly become something that even its creator didn't expect on a scale that was too great. But now I'm really happy with the direction my event, now our event, has taken. Boz ends the last part with a smile.
And that is why I will take charge of this Cup again, with your permission, Dalte.
So be it. And don't forget, June 8th will be a Great Day.
Time Skip of approximately 2 weeks
June 5th of [lost year]
The selection of stadiums was finally complete, resulting in the following list:
[...]
Featuring more than 8 host nations in the Cup, more than double the number from the previous edition.
Cealonia, Chetlosvakcos, Desz, Europeasia, Hebrejinia, (Shinobi) Uzumaki Poleynsia, Tystan and Vademia.
The Bozarkian Cup will now be hosted in 5 different regions!
Bozarkia (18 Stadiums)
Kelios (7 Stadiums)
Edoca (1 Stadium)
The W0rld (1 Stadium)
The Citrus Sea (1 Stadium)
In many places, sales of products, objects, or anything related to the Bozarkian Cup have tripled. Other sports that were scheduled to take place ended up being temporarily suspended for the World Cup itself. Events that were scheduled to take place in selected World Cup stadiums also ended up being cancelled.
In many Bozarkian countries, television channels have already determined which channels will broadcast the Bozarkian Cup. Entire sports games received DLCs or even their own adaptations related to this great World Cup. Although there are still 3 months until the premiere, the prequels have already hit the market and society like a baw.
In the underground palace:
Sir, we have come to inform you about a call that a foreign minister from another country will make to you tomorrow.
When will it be and who is it?
He didn't say who it is, but he said it's of utmost importance and has something to do with the Bozarkian Cup. He also said that the call will be sometime in the afternoon.
I understand, at least I won't receive an unpleasant surprise call in the middle of my shift.
June 6 [lost year]
While Dalte and the head of OCP were organizing things, the phone rang. The head of OCP answered on speakerphone and there was a short silence on the other end of the line.
Your Excellency, I am the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tistan, Filip Bobev. Err... an acquaintance of mine heard that you couldn't find any other stadiums.
Dalte raised an eyebrow, and the head of OCP leaned back in his chair.
Continue, Minister Bobev.
Well, in Tistan we have always been supporters of international cooperation. Especially when it is mutually beneficial. We have a stadium for one hundred and twenty thousand spectators, a modern transport infrastructure and a number of companies ready to invest in the Cup.
Companies? asked Dalte.
Yes, of course. Completely independent companies. They have nothing to do with me, my family or my close friends from Parliament and business.
A short pause follows.
I understand Dalte replied dryly.
These completely independent companies could finance the construction and renovation of several stadiums in other countries. In exchange for reasonable advertising rights, long-term broadcasting contracts and some minor commercial preferences. Bureaucracy in general.
The head of OCP (Luke) looked at Dalte and barely suppressed a smile.
Minister Bobev, are you offering aid or investment?
At Tistan, we dont differentiate between the two.
The room fell silent.
We will consider your proposal, Dalte finally said. But the Bozarkyan Cup is not for profit. It is a symbol of cooperation between nations.
Of course, Your... Sir. And yet even peace needs sponsors. How else are we going to build bigger stadiums for next year?
After these words, the connection was cut.
Dalte sighed.
So the preparations have officially begun.
Why are you saying that? asked the head of OCP.
Because we already have people who they call and try to profit from it."
