There were once four siblings who were sent away,

From the city during troubled times.

For they were to stay quiet,

To stay safe and nestled deep in the hills within a crumbling manor.

The man who cared for them, an old Professor,

Had no wife and he lived in a very large house alone for all, except his servants.

The air there smelled of old wood and wildflowers,

And the halls stretched on longer than seemed possible.

It was in that house,

While the world beyond struggled to steady itself,

That they stumbled upon a secret so strange and wonderful,

It could only belong to another world entirely.

For hidden behind the most ordinary thing.

A wardrobe.
