Rules of BOPDR

Firstly, along with the rules listed below, Brebina also has guidelines. You do not have to follow these, but are strongly encouraged too:
These guidelines are:
-Be open-minded towards viewpoints different to your own
-Generally support free speech
-Be nice and try to express yourself in as polite a way as possible!

While in BOPDR we mostly believe in free speech, there are some limits to this:
1. Follow the site rules at all times. This is the most important rule, with the site rules being found here:

But, within these rules, we view it as especially important to follow these:
-Don't bully, harass, bait, or flame anyone. This includes not insulting anyone at all (you can insult their actions if you give reasons).^
-Don't promote real-life crimes. You can't promote murder, theft, sexual assault, or anything like that.*
-Don't support Nazism. This includes Holocaust Denial.*
-Don't support conscription. You might think this is a strange rule, but I view conscription as close to a form of murder. You can support war, but not for people to be conscripted forcibly to fight in these wars.
-Don't spread false rumours about any NationStates player in the region or out.^
Also, we have some rules of our own:
1. Don't quadruple and above post. Double and triple posts are ok, but nothing more than that.
2. If you judge someone-for anything-provide a rule for this judgement.
3. Violating an RMB ban.
4. Consistently and unrepentedly violating our guidelines, that probably means you do not belong in our region.*
5. Lying about what alts you have/what nation(s) you are an alt of.

Everyone who posts in BOPDR's RMB must follow these rules.

Consequences for not Following Them:
All rules marked with an * are serious. Even a first-time offence of these can get you ejected and banned from the region, for a year at least (at that point, if you haven't been DEAT'd yet, you can apply for an appeal, which may not be granted). The rule marked with a ^ can be serious: even bullying or harassing just once can get you banned, if the troll is severe it can get you banned (just for a month, then you can appeal) even if it's the first time, but generally you will not be banned until you have flamed or flamebited three times. Then you will be banned for a month, after that point, you can appeal. Spreading false rumours for the first time will get you a ban with a month to a year before you can appeal, depending on how much harm potential the rumour(s) had, and how much it actually did harm. These are the punishments for breaking the other rules:
L1:Suppression and reminder
L2:Warning
L3:One day RMB ban
L4:Three day RMB ban
L5:One week RMB ban
L6:Ejection but no ban
L7:Ban with one month before you can appeal
All violations of rules not marked with * or ^ will face the L1 warning first, if repeated, the L2 warning, if repeated, the L3 one, and so on, except for the last one (lying about your alts), you will be given L5 punishment the first time, L6 the second, and L7 the third.

Also,
Anyone with any alts which are ROs in any of these regions: Astoria, Warzone Trinidad, The Communist Bloc, The Red Fleet, Ijaka, Sparkalia, Osiris, Kantrias, The Black Hawks, or The East Pacific will be banned on sight.
