Overview

The Soviet State of Covernant is located within the central-eastern parts of The Communist Bloc

The capital city Vanguard is the largest city with a total population of around 13.7 Million people. Other large cities include Shivan, Maosim and Tronin.

The Covernantion railway network connects all parts of the Soviet State of Covernant and is the primary form of travelling.


Climate

The Soviet State of Covernant has a moderately continental climate.

The winters are usually quite cold with temperatures around -10 °C (14 °F). The summers usually range around 20-25 °C (68-77 °F).

The Mizumi-Sea-coastline usually experiences colder currents coming from the norther parts of The Communist Bloc, lowering the temperature there a couple of degrees more in comparison to the rest of the country.

Biodiversity

Flora

The Covernantian Flora is broadly diversified. The Flora is composed of approximately 620 species or subspecies of plants.

The majority of these species reside in the nations lush forests in the north, namely the Wolven-Woods or the Bord-Woods.

There are several plant species unique to this nation. The most famous one is the Covernantian Daisy, a brightly red Daisy with great cultural significance.

Fauna

There are currently around 70 species of mammals identified. The most importent one, being the national animal is the Covernantian Wolf.

A total of 290 species of birds have so far been recorded in Soviet State of Covernant. Many of whom migrate to the south during winter and returning around April.

Around 50 species of fish have so far been found in the Mizumi-Sea and the Kaiyo-Lakes.


Waters

The Soviet State of Covernant is mostly landlocked. The nation has only access to the Mizumi-Sea in the north and the Kaiyo-Lakes in the south, but neither of them connect to an ocean.

The Mizumi-Sea is mainly used for trading with the northerner states in The Communist Bloc. The bigger part of the Fishing-Industry also resides here since the sea has some larger fish-populations.

The Kaiyo-Lakes mainly remain unused by the nation. They do not offer a lot of fish-populations and are difficult to navigate due to some small passages.
