Block Those Recruitment Telegrams
If you're new to the game, you may be being bombarded by recruitment telegrams. They can get annoying, fast, and we recommend you block them as they can go on for days. To do that, go to your Telegrams Page, and then "Preferences" (or just click here), and set telegram type "Recruitment" to "Block All" (make sure to click "Update Filter" before you leave the page).Join the World Assembly & Endorse Delegate

The World Assembly - NationStates' United Nations. It serves as the home of international law and regularly votes on different resolutions, as well as being vital for security. Every endorsement the Delegate receives is one more endorsement invaders will need to take the region, and it is one extra vote (alongside yours!) on resolutions. Go to "World Assembly", click "Apply To Join", check your email and you should have an invite, just accept that and congratulations - welcome to the World Assembly! Now's the important part: Go toMadJack's nation page, and scroll to the bottom. Click "Endorse MadJack". Step 1. To join the World Assembly, you need to make sure you have an email associated with your account. If you aren't sure, you can find this out by going to settings and scrolling down, it should look like this:Step 2. Now your account as an email, you can join the World Assembly. To do so, go to this page: page=un, or click the "World Assembly" tab on your sidebar.
Step 3. Once on the World Assembly's Homepage, click on the "Apply to Join" Button:
It should take you to a page that looks like this:
Step 4. Go to your email, and inside you should have an email from NationStates, inviting you to the World Assembly:
Then, click the link in your email:
Finally, click the "Confirm" button, and congratulations, you are now in the World Assembly!
Step 5. Endorsement Time! Click here, or go to MadJack and scroll down, and then click the "Endorse" button to endorse the Delegate!
Step 6. Endorse our Guardians Karputsk, Altasund, MadJack, New Anarchisticstan.

Issues, Factbooks & Roleplay
Issues & Dispatches/Factbooks are the main way you get to control your nation, and show NationStates what it's all about.
Issues are NationStates' bread and butter. It's how you make decisions about how your nation should work. Issues cover a wide range of topics (there are over 1600 in the game) and are how you change your nation's policies, government, economy and stats. In the beginning, issues come thick and fast, but this pace slows down and issues will eventually come every 6 hours. When you answer an issue, you also have a chance to generate a trading card pack. Opening it yields 5 random trading cards which are added to your deck. Trading cards are a collectibles minigame on NationStates.
Dispatches and Factbooks are how you can write about your nation history, it's where you can add anything you want (within site rules) to flesh out what you want your nation to be. Player dispatches range from detailed backgrounds of how their nation was formed, to recounts of elections or newspaper articles, it's entirely up to you. Each dispatch can be upvoted or downvoted using the arrows in the top right corner.
World Assembly
The World Assembly is NationStates' version of the United Nations. It hosts two chambers, the Security Council & the General Assembly. The General Assembly writes and votes on laws that impact how you govern your nation. Each resolution passed has a small impact on your nations stats. The General Assembly, however, does not affect how you may do things in your own nation. You can still roleplay however you want - it only has a small impact on your stats. The Security Council by contrast focusing on the recognition of people and regions through commendations and condemnations, and has the power to intervene in what regions can do using Liberations & Injunctions.
In both chambers every World Assembly member gets to vote for or against the proposal, or you could choose to not vote at all. In addition to that, World Assembly Delegates play an important role as on top of their vote they get an extra vote for every nation that's endorsing them. In regions like ours, where our citizenry generally decides how the Delegate votes, that gives the entire region more power.

A: Yes, you can have as many as you want, but only one can be in the World Assembly at any time.Q: "How do I increase my population?"
A: Population increases naturally over time, increasing once per day. The exact figures for how much it increases by varies based on your existing population, and with a little bit of RNG thrown in.Q: "Can I be ejected from here?"
A: Yes, you can. Despite being the Rejected Realms, we have the ability to eject and ban nations - we just almost never use it.

The regional message board (RMB for short) is the space within the Rejected Realms (TRR for Short) that players and nations can post messages, hold conversations, debates, all sorts! It is free for any member of the region, or members of embassy regions to post on, so long as they stay within the rules.One notable thing of the typical discussion on the RMB, is that it is within the rules. Despite TRR being a region where you can't be ejected, there are still rules that you must follow to partake on the RMB, and in the region, in good faith.
The Rules, the cornerstone of RMB etiquette. They are:Stay within NationStates rules
TheNationStates rules apply to every Regional Message Board. Non-compliance will incur the wrath of NS Moderators, who can delete your nation. Please become familiar with these rules.Do not call for the overthrow of the regional government
The regional government is democratically elected, and they are limited on what they can do by the constitution, which is located
here. Every important position in TRR is democratically elected, so the best way to ensure you have a say in the government is to apply for citizenship, and partake in elections.Do not make three or more posts in a row
Posting many times when no one has posted in between can disrupt conversation, makes it difficult for people to follow the RMB, and is spammy. If you have more to say use the edit button.Do not post hateful content
Hateful content is anything with the intention of insulting, or otherwise causing offence, to another person. This includes, but is not limited to, homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, and the promotion of hateful ideologies (such as fascism).Keep all messages Safe for Work
NationStates is a site used by all ages, and thus everything posted on the RMB must be appropriate. Any post which doesn’t will be immediately suppressed.Don’t quote suppressed messages
They've been suppressed for a reason, and you're likely to be suppressed if you quote them. Quoting a suppressed message and rewriting it as "snip" (or similar) is usually acceptable, but we recommend you do not engage with suppressed posts at all. Interactions with trolls or spammers will also be suppressed.Be respectful
While debates are allowed, flaming and personal arguments are not. You are also at risk of violating site rules. Be respectful of others with alternative views. Always attack the argument, not the person behind it.Don’t rehash past drama
Try to avoid complaining about your previous region, the reason they ejected you, or your past and how you ended up here. We don't care about your past drama - TRR is the place for a fresh start, not be plagued by issues of the past.Think before you advertise
Advertising polls is fine, however advertising other regions or alternate offsite platforms for the region is strictly prohibited and will be suppressed.Stop when asked
If a Regional Officer or an NS Moderator asks you to stop, you must stop. If you believe a Regional Officer has acted unfairly towards you, then contact the Delegate (MadJack) and Officer in charge of RMB moderation (Keltionialang) in telegrams.
If you break any of these rules, you are liable to be suppressed, but it's relatively easy to stay within them, as they're aren't hard to follow!

While not generally too harmful, one word messages aren't great as they clog up the RMB, interrupt and disrupt conversations, and entice others to follow in their footsteps and also post one word messages, so don't do it. It doesn't make the RMB interesting, it could discourage members from making posts and prevent others from having an actually decent debate.Non-English Languages
Please provide an English translation if you're posting in other languages on the RMB. This is because English is the only language understood by all of our RMB moderators and it's hard to tell what is and isn't breaking the rules with other languages.Doubleposting
Doubleposting is allowed but discouraged, especially if your messages are short. Try to use the edit button instead.Gravedigging
Please avoid quoting older posts, as this is gravedigging and can hijack ongoing conversations on the RMB.Trolls & Spammers
Trolling and spamming comes into the jurisdiction of NS rules, so don't do it. Posting hateful comments, spamming messages, quoting and vastly changing someone's message (beside deleting it in its entirety) is not acceptable at all. Alongside this, please do not engage trolls or spammers on the RMB, leave them alone to avoid being caught in the crossfire, if you quote or engage them there is an increased chance that you could get punished for quoting, encouraging or just speaking to them.Banned Topics

Alongside the region itself, the Rejected Realms maintains two offsite locations, ourforums and our discord. Joining the discord is an excellent way to get to know your fellow regionmates, with lots of casual discussion taking place there. It is also where the government operates a lot of its functions out of, and is greatly encouraged to join if you want to get involved that way. Joining the forums is a requirement for citizenship, as well as membership of the RRA, as the applications only exist on the forums, as well as being the place where elections happen, we vote on World Assembly proposals, and the Assembly debates and passes laws.Citizenship
The Rejected Realms is a democracy, every major position is elected or confirmed by the Assembly, our body of citizens. As such, to have your say on who the Delegate, Officers and others are you need to become a citizen. This is a relatively simple process:Create an account on our

The Rejected Realms government contains several departments, each of which carries out a different role and may have one or more Officers assigned to it. Joining a government department requires you to already be a citizen.Outreach

Rejected Realms Army
The Rejected Realms Army is one of NationStates' oldest militaries, and is a Defender organisation. That means it doesn't invade, but it defends innocent regions from invasion across the site. The Rejected Realms Army is institutionally separate from the government, and thus does not have the same citizenship requirement as Government Departments, anyone can apply.
