The United States of Willve is a mammoth, safe nation, ruled by President Landa with a fair hand, and notable for its national health service and restrictive gun laws. The compassionate, hard-working, democratic population of 5.141 billion Willveans enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Education, Healthcare, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Henden. The average income tax rate is 16.8%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The strong Willvean economy, worth 333 trillion Diamonds a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Basket Weaving industry, with significant contributions from Book Publishing, Uranium Mining, and Retail. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is 64,742 Diamonds, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.8 times as much as the poorest.

The government pours millions of Diamonds into rehabilitation programs annually, there's no cure or sympathy for the common cold, conspiracy theorists allege that the government is spying on them through their carbon monoxide detectors, and the national guard is mobilized whenever a mother gets separated from her child at the mall. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. Willve's national animal is the Cheetah, which can occasionally be seen sifting through garbage in the nation's cities, and its national religion is Christianity.

Willve is ranked 104,627^th in the world and 1^st in Glitterland for Most Developed, scoring 60.76 on the Human Development Index.
