The People's Republic of Wallavia is a very large, orderly nation, notable for its complete lack of prisons, public floggings, and pith helmet sales. The hard-nosed, cynical population of 439 million Wallavians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The large, corrupt, moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of The Wall. The average income tax rate is 68.8%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but underdeveloped Wallavian economy, worth 19.4 trillion bricks a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is a slick, highly efficient, quite specialized black market in Trout Farming, Information Technology, Arms Manufacturing, and Beef-Based Agriculture. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is 44,162 bricks, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

The nation's streets have become a winter wonderland of salt and sand, space has been brought down to earth with constellations of cancer cases across Wallavia, politicians sweat as journalists scour internet archives for any mention of them, and it takes months to get the proper permits for a child's first tricycle. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a very well-funded police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Wallavia's national animal is the sheep, which is also the nation's favorite main course.

Wallavia is ranked 243,590th in the world and 196th in Empire of Great Britain for Largest Manufacturing Sector, scoring 4,048.64 on the Gooback-Jerbs Productivity Index.
