The first known sentient settlement in the territory of the present day Sultanate of the Pacific Caliphate dates to 12 millions years prior to our present time. Fossil records indicate that giant ground lemurs became bipedal, developed fully radial stereoscopic vision, opposable digits, prehensile tails with dactylic neurons, 1000+ cranial capacities and had become competent swimmers, tool-fashioners and brazen fire bearers by 9 million years ago.
