Presidential Impeachment

Over the centuries the people of the BBR have had to resort to the uttermost extremes, presidential impeachment. There have been numerous occasions where the president was forced out of office because of abuse of power, corrupted affairs both nationally and internationally, and being unable to properly run the union. However, none of these presidents started out this way, some of them were even considered amongst the best up until their impeachment.

Aurth Thou Tentacles II
The first president to impeached was Auth Thou Tentacles II. He assumed office on January 1st of 2269. He was only the 2rd president the union had. When Aurth was first put into office he brought and immediate end to the electoral system and broke up the 2 largest political parties. He was initially known as being a semi authoritarian fish who wanted to take power away from individual parties and give it back to the federal government. This however did not go according to plan because after only 2 years he was impeached. Aurth Thou was not known to be very caring and wanted all the power he could get, which quickly brought an end to his service as president.

Spongebob Squarepants
The second president to be impeached was Spongebob Squarepants. He assumed office January 1st of 2283 and was the fourth president. Spongebob was originally the union's most favorable president, fixing many of the mistakes of the presidents that came before him. He was able to grow the Bikinese economy substantially, and he brought many social and economic reforms that benefited the people. Spongebob was able to run for a second term, and was extremely successful. He was re administered on January 1st of 2287. The first couple years of his second term were just like his first, but by his third year Spongebob was no longer able to cope with the stress of his presidency. This led to him making several bad decisions that gravely hurt his people, including banning the LGBTQ community. Fearing that the BBR would become a corrupt dictatorship like once before, the Bikiniese people made the difficult decision to impeach Spongebob after 7 years of his presidency.

Sandra Jennifer Cheeks
The third president to be impeached was Sandra Jennifer Cheeks, whom was also the first female to be elected into office. She assumed office on January 1st of 2290 and was the unions 5th president. Sandra was well known for being a diehard conservative who did everything in her power to weaken the liberal and socialist parties. Although she wanted to bring social and economic changes that would help the BBR become the most advanced union in all the seas, her plans ultimately did more damage than good. She was unable to properly deal with internal affairs and tried to defund the other political parties which woefully lead to her impeachment before she could run for a second term.

Garold Wilson Junior
The fourth and most recent president to be impeached was Garold Wilson Junior, whom was the first housepet to be elected into office. He assumed office on January 1st of 2322 and was the unions 9th president. Garold was initially one of the most beloved presidents in the unions history, bringing social and economic changes that made the BBR the envy of all the other nations. He was not afraid to state the corruption that had taken hold over Bikinese politicians and stated he would do anything in his power to restore that power to the people. He was received well enough to be elected for a second term and was re administered on January 1st of 2326. Unfortunately after 3 years of his second term the union's economy started to stagnate and civil rights started to fall. Fearing that another social and economic recession could happen, the people of the BBR made the difficult choice to impeach Garold Wilson Junior after 7 years of his presidency.

Although many of these presidents did have goals that could have benefited the BBR and her people, the way they tried to implement these social and economic reforms did nothing more than damage the union, destabilize the government, and hurt the Bikinese people.
