The Kingdom of Sverigen is a titanic, cultured nation, ruled by HM King Maegor V Drakskogen von Svendsen with a fair hand, and remarkable for its ubiquitous missile silos, keen interest in outer space, and pith helmet sales. The compassionate, hard-working, democratic population of 11.77 billion Svens hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The medium-sized, liberal government juggles the competing demands of Industry, Healthcare, and Education. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Harenhall. The average income tax rate is 53.0%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Sverigenian economy, worth a remarkable 1,562 trillion Souveräns a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Tourism, Book Publishing, and Uranium Mining. Black market activity is notable. State-owned companies are common. Average income is an impressive 132,781 Souveräns, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

There have been sightings of people walking around dressed in nothing but leopard-skin g-strings for 'religious reasons', mothers are routinely abandoning their children in the name of women's rights, swarms of present-laden delivery drones blot out the sun before major holidays, and internet sites are legally unable to stop their users from posting pornography. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. Sverigen's national animal is the Dragon, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its national religion is Seiðry.

Sverigen is ranked 169,737^th in the world and 12^th in Novo Brasil for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 546.19 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
