The Empire of Soltara is a gargantuan, safe nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service, irreverence towards religion, and devotion to social welfare. The democratic population of 25.065 billion Soltarans are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The large, socially-minded government prioritizes Welfare, with Education, Defense, and Healthcare also on the agenda. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of City of the Sun. The average income tax rate is 46.2%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The large but underdeveloped Soltaran economy, worth 714 trillion Leiros a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Door-to-door Insurance Sales industry, with major contributions from Tourism, Information Technology, and Pizza Delivery. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 28,495 Leiros, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Organ donation rates are among the lowest in the region, citizens can be frequently spotted going about their business stark naked, scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, and Soltara has designated City of the Sun as its capital city. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. Soltara's national animal is the Wolf.

Soltara is ranked 298,463^rd in the world and 14^th in Asela for Highest Disposable Incomes, with 15,330.69 Standard Monetary Units.
