The People's Republic of Sierna is a tiny, safe nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. The hard-working population of 10 million Siernans are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Welfare, and Defense. The average income tax rate is 24.7%.

The strong Siernan economy, worth 554 billion Dinars a year, is dominated by the Trout Farming industry, with significant contributions from Beef-Based Agriculture, Basket Weaving, and Furniture Restoration. Average income is 55,395 Dinars, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 4.9 times as much as the poorest.

Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Sierna's national animal is the Eagle, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies.

Sierna is ranked 110,280^th in the world and 1^st in E P I C for Least Corrupt Governments, with 93.27 percentage of bribes refused.
