The Marauding of Rogue is a mammoth, safe nation, remarkable for its multi-spousal wedding ceremonies, frequent executions, and suspicion of poets. The hard-working population of 9.048 billion Rogueans have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Education, Welfare, and Administration. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 21.6%.

The strong Roguean economy, worth 606 trillion kronor a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Cheese Exports, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Basket Weaving. Black market activity is notable. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 67,008 kronor, with the richest citizens earning 6.6 times as much as the poorest.

Anything is permissible when wearing latex gloves, flash floods that dams could have controlled regularly ravage small towns in mountain valleys, sex changes are routinely performed at Rogue's hospitals, and paralegals spend all day Hewlett-Packing attorneys' law briefs. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. Rogue's national animal is the porpoise, which frolics freely in the nation's sparkling oceans.

Rogue is ranked 92,851^st in the world and 1^st in Rogues for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring 1,020.5 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
