The Empire of Ravens is a titanic, efficient nation, remarkable for its absence of drug laws. The hard-working, democratic population of 20.812 billion Ravensians live in a state of perpetual fear, as a complete breakdown of social order has led to the rise of order through biker gangs.

The tiny, liberal, pro-business, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Healthcare, and Welfare. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 7.5%.

The thriving Ravensian economy, worth a remarkable 1,192 trillion Dollars a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and dominated by the Gambling industry, with significant contributions from Woodchip Exports, Book Publishing, and Trout Farming. Average income is 57,281 Dollars, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 202,757 per year while the poor average 11,684, a ratio of 17.4 to 1.

Crime is a problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Ravens's national animal is the raven, which can occasionally be seen dodging aircraft in the nation's cities.

Ravens is ranked 273,870^th in the world and 3^rd in Alterante for Most Advanced Law Enforcement, scoring 556.65 on the Orwell Orderliness Index.
