The Eternal Defender of Ravania is a mammoth, cultured nation, ruled by Rowan Ravenclaw with a fair hand, and renowned for its museums and concert halls, state-planned economy, and complete lack of prisons. The compassionate, democratic population of 8.973 billion Ravanians hold their civil and political rights very dear, although the wealthy and those in business tend to be viewed with suspicion.

The medium-sized, liberal government juggles the competing demands of Education, Environment, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Ravania. The average income tax rate is 39.4%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The very strong Ravanian economy, worth 551 trillion ravens a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is led by the Tourism industry, with significant contributions from Basket Weaving, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Information Technology. Average income is 61,496 ravens, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.0 times as much as the poorest.

Arbitration is mightier than the sword, the Communist Party claims that selling things for profit isn't necessarily capitalism, the alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit, and claiming that "my cousin said it was legal" is a common courtroom defense. Crime is relatively low. Ravania's national animal is the wolf, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Ravania is ranked 126,346^th in the world and 503^rd in Concord for Highest Average Incomes, with 61,496.32 Standard Monetary Units.
