The Peace of Rainmaker is a gargantuan, safe nation, remarkable for its daily referendums and keen interest in outer space. The democratic population of 30.991 billion Rainmakerians are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.

The large government prioritizes Environment, although Social Policy, Education, and Law & Order are also considered important. The average income tax rate is 41.2%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The large but underdeveloped Rainmakerian economy, worth 972 trillion Rains a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Woodchip Exports, Book Publishing, and Pizza Delivery. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 31,393 Rains, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

A cyber-war between file sharers and the music industry formats hard drives across the country, space shuttles regularly launch rubbish into space, gambling is outlawed, and prime real estate is devoted to wind farms and solar energy generators. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Rainmaker's national animal is the salmon, which frolics freely in the nation's sparkling oceans, and its national religion is The Order of Raindrops.

Rainmaker is ranked 76,751^st in the world and 1^st in The Red Iron Pact for Safest, scoring 92.99 on the Bubble-Rapp Safety Rating.
