The Queendom of Polar Dragonia is a colossal, orderly nation, remarkable for its free-roaming dinosaurs, daily referendums, and compulsory military service. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 6.326 billion Polar Dragonians are ruled with an iron fist by the dictatorship government, which ensures that no-one outside the party gets too rich. In their personal lives, however, citizens are relatively unoppressed; it remains to be seen whether this is because the government genuinely cares about its people, or if it hasn't gotten around to stamping out civil rights yet.

The relatively small, corrupt, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Industry. The average income tax rate is 28.0%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Polar Dragonian economy, worth a remarkable 1,577 trillion Dragon Coins a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is an enormous, deeply entrenched, fairly diversified black market in Arms Manufacturing, Information Technology, Uranium Mining, and Woodchip Exports. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an amazing 249,413 Dragon Coins, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Many friends and relatives of Leader have been given ambassador jobs in tropical island nations, aging citizens are celebrating the end of the 'Early Bird War', councils up and down the country wrangle over legal matters, and motorists must pay to enter inner-cities during peak hours. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Polar Dragonia's national animal is the Valkyria, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Polar Dragonia is ranked 38,112th in the world and 243rd in The Rejected Pacific for Highest Food Quality, scoring 44.08 on the Meeshlin-Starr Index.
