A brief history of Namonia

The Empire of Namonia was founded 10 March 1923 as the Republic of Namonia. The man responsible for this act was Darrell Perkins, a local nobody who wanted to kill an afternoon. Perkins then proclaimed his house, front yard and back yard as independent. The proclamation passed without notice from the local government.

After Perkins died in 1945, the house, and therefore the Republic of Namonia, was inherited by his son Dan. Dan Perkins served as President of the Republic from 1945 until he was disposed of in a communist coup in 1959, orchestrated by his next door neighbour Lloyd Goodwin.
