The Rogue Nation of Nacelle is a colossal, safe nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape and suspicion of poets. The quiet, industrious population of 4.717 billion Nacelleans have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Education, and Welfare. The average income tax rate is 28.1%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The Nacellean economy, worth 174 trillion Delta Eagles a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Basket Weaving industry, with major contributions from Woodchip Exports, Uranium Mining, and Pizza Delivery. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 36,837 Delta Eagles, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.8 times as much as the poorest.

Coastlines are giant slag heaps, restaurateurs put a lot of effort into persuading customers to accept wafer-thin mints, asking 'does my bum look big in this?' leads to 30 hours of self-esteem classes, and politicians are forced to wear portable lie detectors at all times. Crime, especially youth-related, is almost non-existent, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Nacelle's national animal is the Kitsune, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation.

Nacelle is ranked 165,129^th in the world and 7^th in Nocturne for Least Corrupt Governments, with 93.01 percentage of bribes refused.
