The Kingdom of Moooncraft is a mammoth, cultured nation, ruled by The Council of 9 with an even hand, and notable for its free-roaming dinosaurs, keen interest in outer space, and multi-spousal wedding ceremonies. The hard-nosed population of 8.707 billion Mooncraftians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Education, Industry, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Taipei. The average income tax rate is 19.0%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The all-consuming Moooncraftian economy, worth 984 trillion Crafts a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with significant contributions from Trout Farming, Tourism, and Arms Manufacturing. Black market activity is notable. Average income is an impressive 113,085 Crafts, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.7 times as much as the poorest.

Elementary school children develop thousand-yard stares, popular cartoon characters frequently appear in government-sponsored PSAs reminding students to say no to drugs, spiritual tourists meditate in the ruins of Moooncraftian cathedrals, and cash-strapped junkies lick rabbits for a cheap high. Crime, especially youth-related, is totally unknown. Moooncraft's national animal is the Moon Dragon, which soars majestically through the nation's famously clear skies, and its national religion is Moonism.

Moooncraft is ranked 126,658^th in the world and 16^th in The Eternal Order for Largest Insurance Industry, scoring 1,593.06 on the Risk Expulsion Effectiveness Rating.
