The Cheer Pony of Lighthoof is a mammoth, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its irreverence towards religion. The hard-nosed, hard-working, democratic population of 8.784 billion Lighthoofians are either ruled by a sleek, efficient government or a conglomerate of multinational corporations; it's difficult to tell which.

The minute, pro-business government, or what there is of one, juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Healthcare. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 4.9%.

The thriving Lighthoofian economy, worth 647 trillion Bits a year, is driven almost entirely by the private sector, which is broadly diversified and led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Pizza Delivery, Automobile Manufacturing, and Cheese Exports. Average income is 73,703 Bits, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 260,888 per year while the poor average 15,034, a ratio of 17.4 to 1.

Crime is a problem, with the police force struggling against a lack of funding and a high mortality rate. Lighthoof's national animal is the Pony, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Lighthoof is ranked 19,637^th in the world and 4^th in Pony Realms for Highest Disposable Incomes, with 70,092.38 Standard Monetary Units.
