The relatively small, corrupt, moralistic government is dominated by the Department of Industry, although Law & Order and Public Transport are also considered important, while Spirituality and Welfare aren't funded at all. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 11.4%.

Parents are relieved they no longer need to help with their kids' algebra homework, everybody's got wood thanks to Leader, state media insists that Leader is the most fashionable leader in Infinite Crafts, and taxpayer-funded government ads are promoting Brancaland as a premier filming location. Crime, especially youth-related, is a major problem, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. IC-Water's national animal is the Goldfish, which is also the nation's favorite main course.
