The Republic of Kelbania is a massive, safe nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape and compulsory military service. The hard-working, democratic population of 2.486 billion Kelbanians enjoy a sensible mix of personal and economic freedoms, while the political process is open and the people's right to vote held sacrosanct.

The tiny government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Law & Order, and Welfare. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 8.2%.

The strong Kelbanian economy, worth 150 trillion Imperial Dollars a year, is fairly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Automobile Manufacturing, Furniture Restoration, and Basket Weaving. Average income is 60,456 Imperial Dollars, with the richest citizens earning 6.2 times as much as the poorest.

Crime, especially youth-related, is well under control. Kelbania's national animal is the Black Eagle, which can occasionally be seen dodging aircraft in the nation's cities.

Kelbania is ranked 243,789^th in the world and 1^st in Iron Dawn for Most Rebellious Youth, scoring -8 on the Stark-Dean Displacement Index.
