Jyzeria | Defense Status Level - DEFSTALE [Not Updated]

DEFSTALE


The five levels of DEFSTALE.

The Defense Status Level (DEFSTALE) is an alert state used by the Armed Forces of Jyzeria. The DEFSTALE system was developed by Zynacky Zerlova, the second and current general, of the Armed Forces of Jyzeria. According to Zerlova, even though Jyzeria is a peaceful nation, it needs to be prepared and ready for any conflicts or war that may happen managed by the alert state level. It prescribes five graduated levels of readiness (or states of alert) for the Jyzerian military, and increase in severity from DEFSTALE 5 (least severe) to DEFSTALE 1 (most severe) to match varying military situations.

Levels

DEFSTALE terms are divided into two categories, the technical terms and codenames.

"Burn It Down"

Severe War / Nuclear War / Maximum Readiness

The use of nuclear is permitted by the president and is up to the general of the Armed Forces to give command.
50% and above of active soldiers are deployed.
Police for national security.
Naval blockage is on all seas of Jyzeria.
Some needed aircrafts in the Air Force are deployed.

DEFSTALE 2

"Blackout"

War / Next step to nuclear war.

Nuclear is being prepared but are not yet permitted to use.
25% to 50% of the active soldiers are deployed.
Police for national security.
Naval blockage are ready to block the seas in less than 1 hour.
Air Force is ready to deploy aircrafts if needed.

DEFSTALE 3

"Faint"

Increase in force readiness above that required for normal readiness.

25% to 50% of active soldiers are ready to deploy and engage in less than 5 hours.
Police for national security.
Naval blockage are being prepared and ready to block the seas againts enemies in less than 5 hours.
Air Force is ready to mobilize in 15 minutes.

DEFSTALE 4

"Numb"

Increased intelligence watch and strengthened security measures.

5% of the active soldiers are on all borders of Jyzeria.
Police for national security.
An armed naval ships are on all seas of Jyzeria to guard and patrol the seas.
No order for air force.

DEFSTALE 5

"Powerless"

Normal Readiness / Peace

All active soldiers are on the camp.
Police for national security.
No order for navy and air force.

History

DEFSTALE 3
Kyungchu-Jyzeria War
The Kyungchu-Jyzeria War last 8th of September 2014 happened because Jyzeria wants to expand its territories. The DEFSTALE was raised to Level 3 during that war. Jyzeria won the war on 9th of September 2014.

Operations

The DEFSTALE level is controlled primarily by the Jyzerian President and the Jyzerian Minister of Defense, and each DEFSTALE level defines specific security, activation and response scenarios for the troops in question.

The government is planning to set an individual set of alert state for different branches of military, as the DEFSTALE was set to all branches and each branches was suggesting for an individual alert state.

Current DEFSTALE

The current DEFSTALE of Jyzeria is Level 5 ("Powerless"), which means Jyzeria is currently in a peaceful state.
