The Winter Wolves of Enfoil is a gargantuan, socially progressive nation, ruled by Tsar Peter the Great with a fair hand, and remarkable for its absence of drug laws. The democratic population of 29.799 billion Enfoilians are free to do what they want with their own bodies, and vote for whomever they like in elections; if they go into business, however, they are regulated to within an inch of their lives.

The medium-sized, outspoken government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Education, and Spirituality. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Enfoilia. The average income tax rate is 26.6%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The Enfoilian economy, worth a remarkable 1,173 trillion Gones a year, is quite specialized and led by the Woodchip Exports industry, with major contributions from Information Technology, Basket Weaving, and Furniture Restoration. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 39,394 Gones, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Tsar Peter the Great has just been declared ruler of Enfoil in an international press conference, Orthodox has been named as Enfoil's national religion, prime picnicking sites are being paved over in the name of progress, and the government is sending thousands of citizens overseas to defend a square mile of land. Crime is almost non-existent. Enfoil's national animal is the trout, which can occasionally be seen avoiding garbage in the nation's murky oceans, and its national religion is Orthodox.

Enfoil is ranked 243,393^rd in the world and 2^nd in the Front for Highest Disposable Incomes, with 28,915.43 Standard Monetary Units.
