Ducky II's national story

Ducky II started from nothing well over 20 years ago on paper and then in Nation States, with it's leader attempting to mould the nation by ideals of freedom, democratic expression, and striving to transform the country to a global leader and superpower in soft power, diplomacy and success for it's citizens.

That ideal has seen the leader and his party be kept in power by democratic election for 5 terms in 01, 05, 09, 14, and 19. The country has grown exponentially into one of massive success with more to achieve in it's future. Ducky II is on the cusp of realising the full potential of all energy on the planet, extracting energy, information and raw materials from fission and fusion power, and has the beginnings of a spaceship and terraforming technology to begin to visit other planets. Closer to home it's people are well fed, live in peace and prosperity with access to vast arrays of outstanding public services, and a big, but caring state government. The education, health and social progress of the nation has exploded with the development of government policy over the lasty 20 years.

Meritocracy is developing, where young, talented and skilled people with enthusiasm for their nation's progress and a passion and interest in politics come together with government to help it grow and give back to the people. In particular, the realisation of super computing in recent years has also unlocked unprecedented potential in solving major issues in health, life expectancy, artificial intelligence, robotics, cloning, transhumanism, and space travel.

Local, regional and national democracy flourishes across all walks of life, and is present for people if they need it, standing back if they do not. The government of Ducky II does not want to tell it's people what to do, or how to live, and does not believe that there should be strict moral or religious codes obeyed for fear of consequence or judgement. People of many backgrounds, faiths, creeds and colours call Ducky II their home and they love their neighbours, friends and families. They work hard to make the best of what they have and are taking full advantage of the amazing opportunities opening up.

The future is bright for Ducky II. There is an optimism and enthusiasm for the future that is growing by the month.
