The Republic of Daamat is a massive, environmentally stunning nation, renowned for its burgeoning giraffe population. The compassionate, hard-working population of 1.112 billion Daamatians have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The relatively small government juggles the competing demands of Administration, Law & Order, and Healthcare. The average income tax rate is 17.8%.
The Daamatian economy, worth 54.6 trillion bitcoins a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Automobile Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Soda Sales, Pizza Delivery, and Woodchip Exports. State-owned companies are reasonably common. Average income is 49,088 bitcoins, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 3.2 times as much as the poorest.
Crime is relatively low, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Daamat's national animal is the giraffe, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.
Daamat is ranked 126,544th in the world and 2nd in Cherkoogia for Highest Poor Incomes, with 26,192.71 Standard Monetary Units.
