The Colony of Blacktiger is a colossal, efficient nation, renowned for its complete absence of social welfare and spontaneously combusting cars. The hard-nosed, hard-working, cynical population of 4.79 billion Blacktigerians are ruled with an iron fist by the corrupt, dictatorship government, which oppresses anyone who isn't on the board of a Fortune 500 company. Large corporations tend to be above the law, and use their financial clout to gain ever-increasing government benefits at the expense of the poor and unemployed.

The relatively small, moralistic, pro-business, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Defense, and Education. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 11.9%.

The thriving Blacktigerian economy, worth 283 trillion aurums a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Beef-Based Agriculture industry, with major contributions from Retail, Door-to-door Insurance Sales, and Tourism. Average income is 59,060 aurums, but there is a significant disparity between incomes, with the richest 10% of citizens earning 201,590 per year while the poor average 12,732, a ratio of 15.8 to 1.

Organ donation is compulsory, the latest Harry Potter book is a bestseller, and the alarmingly racist TV show 'Bigtopians Say the Darndest Things' is a hit. Crime is a problem, possibly because it is difficult to make it through a day without breaking one of the country's many regulations. Blacktiger's national animal is the bovina.

Blacktiger is ranked 234,204^th in the world and 1^st in Blacktiger for Least Corrupt Governments, with 91.28 percentage of bribes refused.
