The Republic of Aurorheim is a mammoth, safe nation, renowned for its barren, inhospitable landscape, compulsory military service, and irreverence towards religion. The hard-working, democratic population of 5.875 billion Aurorans have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The relatively small government prioritizes Defense, with Welfare, Law & Order, and Education also on the agenda, while Spirituality and International Aid receive no funds. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Stortfjall. The average income tax rate is 9.2%.

The strong Auroran economy, worth 349 trillion Aurorian Ingals a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, with major contributions from Basket Weaving, Gambling, and Uranium Mining. Average income is 59,474 Aurorian Ingals, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 4.9 times as much as the poorest.

Military spending recently hit a new high, scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes, convicted murderers are free to walk the streets provided they attend rehabilitation classes, and Aurorheim has designated Stortfjall as its capital city. Crime, especially youth-related, is well under control. Aurorheim's national animal is the The Auroran White Eagle, which can occasionally be seen dodging aircraft in the nation's cities.

Aurorheim is ranked 279,187^th in the world and 20^th in Northern Utopia for Most Eco-Friendly Governments, scoring -3.16 on the Dolphin Recycling Awareness Index.
