The State of Aourh is a titanic, cultured nation, ruled by Prime Minister Quinctius Jikon with an even hand, and remarkable for its keen interest in outer space, anti-smoking policies, and restrictive gun laws. The compassionate, hard-working, cheerful population of 12.171 billion Aourhans have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.

The large government juggles the competing demands of Education, Administration, and Industry. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Pakadlo. The average income tax rate is 91.9%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Aourhan economy, worth a remarkable 2,288 trillion xuvophs a year, is broadly diversified and led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Book Publishing, Retail, and Tourism. Average income is an impressive 188,025 xuvophs, and evenly distributed, with the richest citizens earning only 2.6 times as much as the poorest.

Pakadlo consists only of government buildings and the mansions of government janitors, businesses are required to round down their profits, teenage boys are raving about how the latest AI assistant sounds exactly like a sexy movie star, and politicians who vacation in East Lebatuck lose their jobs upon their return. Crime is totally unknown, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. Aourh's national animal is the horse, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests.

Aourh is ranked 281,078^th in the world and 1^st in Associated Powers Bloc for Largest Pizza Delivery Sector, scoring -8.53 on the Pepperoni Propulsion Productivity Index.
