The Free Land of 0anae is a small, socially progressive nation, notable for its irreverence towards religion and absence of drug laws. The cynical population of 32 million 0anaeans are ruled with an iron fist by the socialist government, which grants its people the freedom to do whatever they like so long as it doesn't involve getting richer than anybody else or challenging the government.

The medium-sized, liberal, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Welfare, Healthcare, and Education. The average income tax rate is 26.8%, but much higher for the wealthy.

The sizeable but underdeveloped 0anaean economy, worth 1.01 trillion Zeristoes a year, is led by the Tourism industry, with major contributions from Pizza Delivery, Arms Manufacturing, and Soda Sales. Black market activity is notable. State-owned companies are common. Average income is 31,581 Zeristoes, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Crime is almost non-existent, thanks to a capable police force and progressive social policies in education and welfare. 0anae's national animal is the leopard.

0anae is ranked 167,746^th in the world and 682^nd in Concord for Highest Average Tax Rates, with 26.82 Effective Tax Rate.
