hmm roleplays can be pretty dominating in regional discussion. If you all aren't interested in Discord, would ya'll mind if I set up a sister region where you could use that Regional Message Board (RMB) for roleplay just so this RMB can be for more casual OOC chat? Does that work?

I am very excited to announce my first official Supreme Council nominations. Please know, there is still room for additional Councilors if folks are interested:
With great honor, I want to announce my official nominations for our Supreme Council. Future nominations may be unveiled on a rolling basis, but these will be the first official (e.g. not "acting") members of our Council.
Councilor of Diplomacy + Foreign Affairs: South trinity
South Trinity has been operating in this role already in an acting capacity, and has done a stupendous job opening up embassies with like-minded regions, developing a criteria sheet for new embassies, and introducing Venice to the world.
Councilor of the Militia Cobra kai karate
Cobra is a newer nation to Venice, but they took the initiative to reach out to me and discuss the future of a military in the region. While I do not think we have the resources to create a full military quite yet, Cobra will head up our "regional militia" which will be responsible for recruiting nations to join the World Assembly, endorse our delegate, and participate in emergency holds when the situation arises.
Councilor for Roleplay: Myehn
Myehn has been working hard as Acting Councilor of Activity, but they expressed to me that they would like to shake things up and instead work to spearhead roleplay in our region. After discussion, it seems that roleplay will not take place in Discord, and we are instead creating a dedicated sister region called Venetian Roleplay where folks can use that region's RMB to enjoy roleplaying (so our RMB here can stay OOC)
World Assembly Delegate TBD
Oiran is one of our oldest active nations, and has been working tirelessly as our Acting World Assembly Delegate. However, I believe a role of this importance should be elected by all the nations of the region. To that end, in the coming days I will be opening nominations and standing for World Assembly Delegate where all nations may throw their hat into the ring. Once a winner is elected, they will hold that seat for at least 3 months as to provide for stability in the office.

Finally, there are other offices I would like to see filled, such as: Welcoming, and Activity. If anyone is interested in these roles, or have ideas for other Supreme Council roles, please feel free to telegram me!
While a dedicated Discord channel won the poll, a sister region has already been created. I've decided to compromise and test out a roleplay channel in Discord as a secondary place to roleplay in character. The roleplay there will be completely separate from the roleplay in the sister region and the sister region will be the main place to roleplay. In other words, if you're in the sister region you won't be missing out on information for your roleplay and vice versa.
