Now that one was truly worth it! One of the best piles I've participated in in a long time. That place really needed to be destroyed. I was waiting for that one for years.

First of all...I don't know how and why such a thing as bank cheques still exist. Not only this kind of documents are extremely prone to falsification, but this payment method is so primitive. What about not relying on credit cards and cheques at all and trying to minimize the need of any kind of loan from a bank? And "non bank financial credit institutions" one should most definitely avoid.
So, people must be taught how to live without loans and to be self sufficient, not how to live in debt their entire life.

Partially true. Yes, during the communism students were taught how to assemble and disassemble AK47, but people were neither keeping AK47+ammo in their houses, nor they were actually allowed to do so. But in case of war, there were weapons depots, where people would be armed, if there was a need to mobilize the reserves.
Actually, nobody in his right mind would be keen of the idea of having running around civilians armed with assault riffles. This means Europe. And if a pistol could be perceived as defensive weapon, nobody can convince me that assault riffles are defensive weapons. So, I definitely can't understand you, Americans.
Not only this, but in most scenarios, assault riffles are extremely impractical, if you want to fend off home intruder/burglar. The sheer size of the weapon makes it extremely hard to be handled in close quarters situations, not to mention the fact that it is unacceptable for civilians to be armed with automatic riffles.
