What is the name of the 118th element in the periodic table, and how many protons and neutrons does it consist of?

I veto all chemistry questions

That's a nice question!

I see you Nim, don't try and answer it too early!

Yay for double-posts
It's legal for the AMA I guess.

Don't you just love chemistry? Quick google of the periodic table gives you all the info you need.

The 118th element is Oganesson(formerly ununoctium), with an atomic mass of 294 (singular as it does not exist in nature directly). As element #118, it has 118 protons and 176 neutrons based on the previous atomic mass although this can vary depending on the nucleus of the particular type.

All are vetoed. I only accept questions about NS or penguins.

I would say correct but I won't because you used Google, which is heresy, only Yahoo is allowed.

oh so i can ask questions about r3n

Praeceps, Aerilia, and Nimarya

Can someone tell me what Outer Sphere Electron Transfer is???

Go to Yahoo and search it.

ROM wrote:oh so i can ask questions about r3n

If I don't know the answer I'll just make something up

"r3n is actually a robot which is why no one ever sees them"

r3n is noted for their "scripting" abilities. how proficient are you at "coding"

The cascadian bioregion wrote:Go to Yahoo and search it.

Luckily I don't need to. Is just electron transfer through the change of bond length till they are the same then a electron transfers across :)

Nimarya's AMA starting now. Simply just tag Nim in your question!

To start it off:
Favourite Pizza?
Pineapple on Pizza?

Have you eaten a penguin, and if so are they delicious
