Rules and Information

How Do You Vote?

Start off by listening to all 23 songs found in the same semi-final as your nation! The North Pacific Vision Song Contest uses the same points system as Eurovision. It means you rank your top 10 favourite songs and give them 12,10,8,7,6,5,4,3,2 and 1 points each. You must also add 5 reserve nations to your list. The reserve nations come in play if a nation you voted for gets disqualified (for example for not voting). You send in your votes to The Democratic Kingdom Of Skaraborg via telegram using the voting template found further down below. If you have followed the voting template and read the voting rules (also found further down below), you have most likely voted correctly. Failure to vote leads to disqualification. You have until the 16th April to vote!

When voting...

  • You must send your votes to the host using the voting template (without the text in brackets).

  • You can't vote for yourself

  • You can't vote for a nation twice

  • You may only vote for nations in your own Semi-Final

  • You send in your song via TELEGRAM to The Democratic Kingdom Of Skaraborg

  • Failure to vote will lead to disqualification.

  • Final day to vote is April 16th!

If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to The Democratic Kingdom Of Skaraborg or any other TNPV staff member via Linkdiscord or telegram.

Yes.

68,589 busts.

Vieinia wrote:thats hot.

I don't mean bust as in the female breast, I mean bust as in the statue dedicated to facial features of a person.

Wait, I think that is what you're joking about.

I bamboozeled myself.

When your grindset is patriotism... that happens.

Post by Volpesland suppressed by a moderator.

Fun Fact: Though Out in Great Furripon, Arizel has around 100K statues, and 10 million paintings big or small.
There's a reason why the saying "Go Bow to Ari" exists! :3

I mean, I'm from a country with a relatively high amount of patriotism (I'm not saying where I am from but it's in North Africa) but oh my god, that's too many.

Maybe I don't get the Turkish grindset they got in Türkiye.

I'm gay.

You're too weak to understand the love for Atatürk we have here.

PS: We have the world's 10th largest concrete bust on a mountain in İzmir called the Atatürk Mask.

Workers Republic of Korea wrote:He only has 1,085 monuments? Atatürk (the founder of Türkiye) has around 68,589 busts dedicated to him in our country.

I mean full-size monuments. If you add busts, the figure goes up to 7000. Sure, not anywhere near as much, but that just shows who deserves praise and who tried to build a personality cult :P

Well that took a while. It passed over my birthday :(

~I'm ba-a-ack~

In my city of Bursa we have like 9 statues all close to eachother just for Atatürk. :D

Big Atatürk is watching you!

Additional Fact: The biggest statue of him is the Statue of Enchantment in New Fur City.

Okay, this actually made me laugh so hard I nearly fell off my chair!

Fun Fact: One of the many titles given to Atatürk is "The Eternal Leader" or "Ebedi Şef" so the equivelant of "Big Brother is Watching You" would be "The Eternal Leader is Watching You".

So he's like Turkish Kim Il Sung? Interesting.

Wow, it's been 13 days since I made an appearance.

It's been quieter here without NS - Marcus has been kept busy with jobs from me and of course, his Trains.

I hope you've all been well. :D

Arctic Lands wrote:So he's like Turkish Kim Il Sung? Interesting.

Kim Il-Sung but he didn't oppress people or make an authoritarian hellhole and made a country that was saying: "It's over." to defeat 13 countries by itself and formed a republic out of it and innovated countless things for us.

Another fun fact: Before the Grand Assault that would finish the Greek war within the Turkish War of Independence, Atatürk's horse was shot, causing him to fall on his ribcage, breaking 3 ribs. Despite doctors pleading him to delay so he would be better, he denied all of their requests, fighting Greece with 3 broken ribs.
