The Teutonic Kingdom wrote:Can we trade 🥺

From what I've seen, your country is not one that Atrito would incentivise trade with.

The Vasiliev-Class Super Carrier Sovetskaya Gavan was on the way to Osklandic shores to deliver some M1EK2 Abrams tanks and some AX series apaches. The voyage was boring, quiet, some might even say duller than taking the intelligence tests. Well, it was boring, until the Izernians decided they were too good to keep away from the 1st fleet. In an instant, the Izernian air force attacked the KNS Sovetskaya, the Kabarovskian Naval Forces were quick to react, two F-35s were able to take off and begin engaging the incoming Izernians, one of the pilots was Kalin Vasiliev, Oleg’s cousin. Three fighters were shot down, one got through and was able to hit the flight deck, 2 AX-64kPs went up in flames.

The Izernians then turned their attention towards the other planes taking off from the flight deck, Kalin tried to intercept, but was shot down before he could. He tried to bail out, but his F-35 exploded midair before he could. More F-35s were taking off, but by this time, an Izernian naval ship was showing itself. It was an aircraft carrier, it appeared that they ran out of fighters to dispatch. The ones that were active were in the air, were few in number. A Kuznetsov-Class Corvette, the KNS “Lionsroar” was opening fire on the ship. Although it was ineffective for the most part, it was keeping the Izernian Navy occupied. A Chernov-Class Destroyer started opening fire on the carrier as well. It’s ship-to-ship guns tore through the Izernian ship like it was butter. The carrier sank, with every soul on board dying.

The convoy continued to Oskland, the delivery was 2 hours late, but everything except for two helicopters made it onto Osklandic soil, 23 Kabarovskian soldiers lost their lives. However, it is nothing compared to the 5,000 Izernian sailors that drowned. Kabarovsk has now entered the war, attacking the 1st fleet, truly was, a foolish Izernian decision

Mere moments after the sinking of the aircraft carrier, Hermade was immediately aware of how bad the situation had become. What was even worse was that Izern and Oskand had signed a ceasefire 2 days ago, and for the duration of it, it had been relatively quiet across the seas and Varjeiga. This provoked attack was a blatant violation of the ceasefire, and Hermade was mad. But he knew something wasnt right about the attack on the carrier.

This was made all too clear when a high ranking official came to his office in Izern City.
"Sir, I'm assuming you've heard about the attack, right?"
"Yes, I'm fully aware of it. Whyd you ask?" Hermade replied. He had a mix of understand and unknowingness. Hermade took a sip of coffee as the official spoke.
"That carrier... was not Izernian. We haven't even gotnone in our fleet. In fact, we haven't even had one in the navy for at least 30 years."
Hearing this, Hermade spat out his coffee, a few drops hotting the official's suit. He wiped off the drops before continuing.
"You heard me right. I don't know what they thought of what Osk... I mean Kabarovsk was doing, but it was foolish to say the least. I would send my condolences to the country that the carrier belonged to, but we still dont know. We've checked the wreckage. No flag, nothing."
"Those poor sailors, came to the wrong place at the wrong time... What about the attacks prior, with the jets. Were they Izernian?"
"Judging by the wrecks, they were Izernian Jakors. I've had a chat with the Chief of the Air force, and he said they were performing air exercises, when I guess one of the pilots saw the military cargo heading to Oskland. Still unsure of that because only one came back and he's refusing to say anything."
"Great. Just great... Well, get the navy on high alert, we must prepare for anything."
"Sir yes sir!" The official said, before leaving Hermade's office.
