A Purge Is The Official Name For Removing Nations From The SR RP Map That Have Not Posted A Roleplay In A Set Amount Of Time.

There Is A Purge Every Tenth Map, For Maps Ending In A Zero, With Exception To The Reinstatement Purge For Map 411.
This Map Is An Exception Due To The NS Outage.

For All SR Nations, The Countdown Is 30 Days.
Nations That Are Controlled By Moderators, Cartographers, Or Those On Hiatus Are Spared From Purges.

The Count Starts At 0 On The Day You Join The Map.
Nations That Haven't Posted In More Than 30 Days On The Day The Map Update Associated With This Purge Is Posted Will Be Removed For Inactivity.
Nations That Have Been Removed For Inactivity Must Produce Roleplay During Their Reapplication To The Setting If They Were Removed On The Prior Map.
Nations Removed For Inactivity Will Suffer The Effects Of The 90% Rule If They Do Not Reclaim On The Next Map.
Any Active Action Expansions A Purged Nation Has Not Yet Completed After Being Removed Will Be Cancelled, And All Words Written For It Forfeited If They Do Not Reclaim On The Next Map.

If You Are Concerned You Will Not Be Able To Replay For An Extended Period Of Time You May Request A Hiatus Of Up To 1 Month Via Contact On Discord Or TG To A Carto Member.
For A Longer Hiatus, You Can Make Special Request To A Moderator With A Reason For The Extensive Hiatus.
You Can Request Another Hiatus Immediately After The Former Ends.
Your Hiatus Ends If You Post A Roleplay Message Before It Has Naturally Ended.
The 30 Day Timer Starts From 0 After Your Hiatus Ends.

You Are Entitled To A Purge Notifcation At Least 6 Days In Advance Of Your Removal For Inactivity. If We Fail To Notify You, You May Contest Your Removal.

You Must Post A Roleplay Message At Least Every 30 Days, Or You Are A Moderator/Cartographer/On Hiatus And Are Immune To Purges.
Roleplay Messages Are Singificantly Easier To Find When Marked With "SR RP" In The Message. Include Them To Avoid Accidentally Being Purged Unjustly.
ONLY MESSAGES WITH TWO OR MORE PARAGRAPHS OF TEXT COUNT AS A VALID RP POST.
If The Text Is Between 1 And 2 Paragraphs, Or If It's A Worldbuilding Post, It's Up To The Carto Member To Determine If It's Enough Effort To Justify Being Counted.
No Post Of 1 Paragraph Length Or Less Will Count.
