I think I have solved this crazy mystery of who shot the sher- err... Silent Knight. It all begins on March 5th, when The Empire of Clearndeap arrives. We all know that Knight was shot on March 6th... or maybe March 5th, news doesn't travel very fast on The Moon. Of course the murder doesn't go as planned so he prepares for the next attack. But he needs to cover up the attempted murder, and he can't do it alone. So he bribes (or asks really nicely for) Argent Mesa to conjure the story of a "stray meteorite". Of course some people (myself) see though the clever cover story and consider it a cover up! Clearndeap, despite to get rid of the heat, hires (or asks really nicely for) Moonkum to assassinate the nosey reporter (myself). So after my daring escape (and after I turn off my oven), I plan on how to take down this deadly criminal. Unfortunately Clearndeap leaves The Moon for Aurora Spatial thus giving him protection thanks to The New Inquisition, a deadly group of people I imagine.
Of course there is no motive in the sense of the word. I have come to believe that Clearndeap is a sleepy cell lying in wait in The Pacific until it was time to strike. The mastermind behind this whole plot is of course the remnants of Aurora Spatial. Aurora Spatial was planning many assassinations of key persons including Silent Knight. We have to go back to December 22nd, 2010 because I believe he is a target because of possible criminal activity in the San Francisco Bay Area and The New Power Federation, possible smuggling persons from The New Power Federation to San Francisco considering TNPF was a dying region at the time. Anyway, after Clearndeaps failure he returned to Aurora Spatial hoping to become WA delegate and rebuild Aurora Spatial in the glory of... assassinations I guess... but people heard of the failed murder and shunned him.
So now the evidence is clear, the suspects are reveled, and the master plot is apparent. The grand mystery of who shot Silent Knight is clear as day. Either all this is true or he got hit by a stray meteorite. By surely this well thought out and investigated grand scheme is the more likely. Right? Right!?

This just in... literally 18 minutes ago it would appears that The Perpetual Sunshine Kingdom of Ashelon has had a catastrophic nuclear meltdown. This resulting explosion and nuclear fallout has literally blown Ashelon right of the face of the moon. We are talking billions dead, none wounded. We will see within the next few days what kind of impact this will have on the other nations of the moon. This has been anchorman/reporter MC reporting to you live from outside of the crater that once was The Perpetual Sunshine Kingdom of Ashelon.

It is shocking news what happen just hours ago in Ashelon. A nuclear catstrophe wiping out probably the entire Perpetual Sunshine Kingdom.
In this time of dire need we will stand beside our brethren of Ashelon. The Republic will send out search and rescue teams, to find and offer help to possible survivors.
Though the time ahead seems bleak we must not fall into panic. The habitats of our nation are well shielded against nuclear radiation. And the Perpetual Sunshine Kingdom of Ashelon is located on the other side of the Moon.

Official update from the Missing Cosmonauts Search and Rescue Committee:
11 short hours ago search and rescue operations began. Traveling the treacherous lunar landscape of the dark side of the moon, (this committee would like to say that it is very ironic that The Perpetual Sunshine Kingdom of Ashelon is located on the dark side) proved difficult but ground operations near the destroyed Ashelon have been set up.
Other nations such as The Anarcho republic of Moonkum have arrived with there own search and rescue operations, Unfortunately survivors have been little and far in between... literally. So far a total of only 42 survivors have been recovered by MCSADC operatives, most of which suffering from radiation poisoning and asphyxiation.
The MCSADC encourages persons reading this report to donate to the Ashelon fund set up by Moonkum to assist suffering Ashelonists and for you send your own search and rescue teams this way. Thank you.

After 24 hours of search and rescue operations the MCSARC has decided to pull out of the Ashelon region. Maximum casualties of the Ashelonists are recorded and all rescued persons have died as a result of there injuries. Our prayers are with The Perpetual Sunshine Kingdom of Ashelon. Thank you all for your support in this dire time.

The obliteration of the Perpetual Sunshine Kingdom of Ashelon along with the entire populace is a tragedy with no comparison.
Sadly our SAR-teams where unable to rescue any survivors. All Ashelons found fell victim to the very high radiation levels on the sight of the disaster.
We assure our citizens once more that no threat is caused to our own by the nuclear catastrophe of Ashelon.
May the Moon never have to experience another Ashelon.

Wow... that's a coincidence ... an embassy with the San Francisco Bay Area? Didn't I mention them in my post about who shot Silent Knight? Oh well. But I'd watch out Moonkum, they might be after your cheese!
Anyway, I did a little looking around and noticed that 25 out of our 33 nations have over a billion citizens. That's 75% of our region, and I'm part of that small 25%. I feel a little... little, you know what I mean?
