It's a bit hard to hide nowadays even with the corporate media telling everyone otherwise. China and America's other enemies could easily take this as an opportunity to show the U.S. as a traitor. I could easily imagine Putin, Jinping, and even Kim Jong-Un saying to their people "And they are the self-proclaimed defenders of the 'free' world. Where's all that freedom going now?" Of course, they aren't freedom-loving patriots either, but at least they can run a country.
