Nothing yet, and I hope to keep it that way.

It's entirely possible that this is not about me, but I've been waiting for an appropriate time to just say I is le girl not le boy. If I misunderstood, please ignore me

Hannah-Vine wrote:I'm not much for unnecessary expansion per say, so I'm not worried about that. I did just notice that one of your core factbooks relies on a definition of communism and terrorism that I don't agree with at all. That might mean I'm there to counteract it, but that might be too annoying? Or maybe it wouldn't mean much at all since you don't do geopolitics? What do you do instead?

Oh, all of my factbooks are wildly out of date. With the exception of the Imperial Council/Election maps and the Alphabet, most of those factbooks are only tangentially related to my current lore.

That said, the Imperial government kinda just views communism in general as a threat to our continued existence, so.......

On a tangent kinda: I've been all over the place with how I decide how to start. I started hoping to have camaraderie with a US style player that I split off of and arguably be rivals with in game, but... after some of the tension I've seen (and created?).. I kinda feel like I have to choose a place for "safety" to enjoy the game... which feels a bit awkward. I haven't showed off what I actually believe yet, yet I'm thinking I might have to symbolically "choose allies" while joining. Am I misreading the room? Sorry for being insecure and confused

you're not even an independent country.

Hannah-Vine wrote:Love Peace and Friendship, is it accurate to say starting near you would mean I need to worry about prostyletizers, christo-fascists, and crusaders trying to affect me? If I'm misunderstanding how you perceive your own nation, I apologize. I'm just going off the hints of allying with fascists (according to some people) and defending it with Christian apologism /genuine

The fascists were overthrown and were left as partisans while the crusaders are ancient (age of exploration) history.

Instead you will receive an unending torment of pacifist preachers trying to convert your country to the one true faith.

Wait, what's controversial about you? You just seem like a fun quirky on a Christian theocracy /genuine :)

Many nations on Valsora, such as the Humanist State (though for some reason he's fine with THR), the Lafari (to an extent) and Neuebremen (my pet project and second alt on Valsora) maintain an extremely hard line against nonites, which are basically sapients that are not inherently Homo Sapiens proper.

that was by my own will for the record

Everyone has their own lore and history (often contradicting each other).

You'll be fine however you choose to go about things.

Do people directly suggest I not start in Usnistan or Orientalis? I haven't studied the possibility enough, I'm just asking.

RP on Valsora is completely based on consent

If you don’t ever want to go to war, be annexed, or even RP with your neighbors, you do not have to and no one can make you

Usnistan and Orientalis are fine if you're nation is middle-eastern or asian respectively. Outside of this, these areas are infamous for being quite politically volatile, so be careful if you join there.

Death.

Terrabis-Seran is attempting to restore it's sister state, Fraxhemark, as well as expanding northward to reclaim its former territories.

Anything that gets in the way of that dream will either be crushed or integrated.
